Focus on the chemistry of "metals" in the environment

Two recent studies published by the researchers of Geosciences Rennes illustrate in very different contexts the thematic versatility - and thus collaborations - with the team Nano-BioGeochemistry (NBG).

Classification périodique des éléments chimiques
The members of this team are interested in the processes and the key factors governing the cycle, the drawing and the mechanisms of transfer of elements metallic tracks (metals and metalloids) and nano-objects at the same time as contaminants and expanding phases (natural and anthropological, inorganic and organic nanoparticles: manufactured, nano-plastic Nps, etc.). Their areas of research are focused on the environments of surface (waters, grounds, watersheds, estuaries, oceans) and their interfaces, including the action of microorganisms and vegetation.
