Nationally, the University of Rennes 1 ranks 4th in the ranking of the awards of Marie Sklodowska-Curie European fellowships. Five research teachers from the University of Rennes 1 have received funding, and four of its five grants are awarded to projects carried by OSUR laboratories: one at ECOBIO (with Joan van Baaren in ecology) and three at Rennes geosciences (with Olivier Bour, Tanguy Le Borgne and Yves Méheust in hydrogeology).
Notably, the European Projects Platform (2PE) Brittany, which since 2013 has supported and valued the participation of the Brittany academic community in the European Framework Programmes for research and innovation, particularly in the Horizon 2020 framework. Since June 2018, Claire Bajou, Project Engineer in charge of the Life and Earth Sciences sector at the Rennes site, is present every Tuesday at the OSUR. Given these exceptional results from the first year, we can only rejoice in this close collaboration! On the subject of the Marie Curie Individual Scholarships, 2PE organises annual information meetings on individual campuses in February-March (2019 calendar).
