The 2021 Dolomieu Prize from the Bureau de recherches géologiques et minières is awarded to Philippe Davy, geophysicist, CNRS research director at the Laboratoire Géosciences Rennes (Université de Rennes 1/CNRS) and director of the LabCom Fractory (CNRS/Université de Rennes 1/ITASCA

A specialist in modelling geological and environmental systems, he develops research on the genesis of their spatial complexity and dynamics. He is interested in fractured geological reservoirs, thermo-hydro-mechanical processes, erosion of landforms and river instabilities.
